About the Role

Training Purpose

To support the Facility & Maintenance Department in enhancing the workplace environment through interior design, space planning, furniture selection, lighting concepts, color coordination, and facility improvement initiatives. The role assists in developing functional, safe, and visually appealing workspaces while coordinating with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to support design solutions align with company standards and business objectives.

Job Description

· Support workplace design and facility improvement projects.

· Assist with space planning, layouts, and design presentations.

· Recommend furniture, finishes, and lighting concepts.

· Conduct site visits, take measurements, document conditions, coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.

· Ensure compliance with safety and company standards.

· Maintain design documents, drawings, and project records.

· Support workplace branding and visual identity element

You are meant for this job if:

A. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:

· Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field, eligible for the

Tamheer program.

B. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· No prior work experience required. Internship or university projects are a plus.

C. REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

· Nonmandatory, but basic design software training like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe, is a

plus.

D. REQUIRED INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

· Good communication and teamwork, willingness to learn, organized and detail focused.

E. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS AND/OR PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS:

· Technical and problem solving. Basic AutoCAD or similar software, Microsoft Office,

simple layouts and presentations, basic problem solving.

F. REQUIRED JOB KNOWLEDGE:

· Basic understanding of interior design principles, space planning basics, awareness of workplace safety and standards.
