Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Administrator Intern

Job Description:

Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Administrator Intern.

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns to support our global Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) operations. This role offers exposure to supplier onboarding, master data management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement across a global organization. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of supplier data and processes.

The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As a Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Administrator Intern you will: 

• 6 months Intern to help SLP admin activities globally
• Support global SLP administrative activities and supplier lifecycle management processes.
• Assist with supplier registration activities in SAP Ariba and validate Master Data Governance (MDG) change requests.
• Monitor supplier registration progress and proactively follow up on incomplete registrations.
• Provide first-level support to suppliers by assisting with registration-related enquiries and troubleshooting using available training materials and job aids.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and resolving master data issues.
• Support processing of service tickets and requests related to supplier master data maintenance.
• Generate and analyze reports to track supplier status, identify inconsistencies, and improve data quality.
• Support supplier master data cleansing and data governance initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain positive working relationships.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Comfortable working with data and performing basic data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling master data.
• Exposure to SAP, Ariba, or other ERP systems would be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Mandarin, or German is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and understand Mandarin is an advantage.
