About the Role

Job Summary

  • Accurately enter patient information into registration system.
  • Perform quality control checks on registration data.
  • Assist patients complete necessary registration.
  • Keep work area clean, organized and professional.
  • Receptive to feedback and strives for continuous improvement.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Collect co-pays and other payments from patients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • One year clerical experience and six months  healthcare experience are required.  Prefer medical office, insurance, hospital or computer experience. Keyboard skills accurate 30 wpm.  Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills and computer applications.  

Education

  • High School Education or equivalent. Working knowledge of Medical Terminology required.

Experience

  • Six months clerical and customer service experience required.
  • Some computer experience required.
  • Medical and insurance experience required.
  • Must be able to type a minimum of 30 WPM.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

 

Compensation

  • $16.07-$26.25/hr depending on previous work experience.
