What You’ll Do as a SAFY Intern or Practicum Student you will:

  • Will receive experiences for personal and professional growth and development
  • Will experience direct and close supervision by an appropriate supervisor
  • To complete at a minimum an annual performance evaluation and, as applicable, other documentation as required by the University/College
  • Go through adequate training for all responsibilities assigned
  • Attended regularly scheduled supervisory conferences with supervisor

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s level program in social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, or a related field in human services.
  • Must hold an interest in Child Welfare, Human Services, Counseling, Therapeutic Foster Care and more.
  • Must be Mission driven and seeking opportunities to serve others.
