About the Role

This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.

The vision of the Welfare and Self-Reliance Department is to follow Jesus Christ by embracing the two great commandments to love God and love our neighbor as we minister to temporal needs, build spiritual and temporal self-reliance, and bless both givers and receivers. This opportunity within the Humanitarian Services division. Participants in this internship will gain valuable insights into the operations of humanitarian efforts of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as they work in a critical functional role that includes a wide range of supporting tasks.

Duration: August 2026 – April 2027. Part-time, 28/hours per week, on-site (Monday-Wednesday in-person).
