About the Role

The Archive Intern will assist the Archivist in collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Montgomery County. This includes the care and management of permanent county records as well as manuscript collections that contain a variety of materials. The aim of this program is to provide interns with a well-rounded archival experience along with hands-on experience of archival processing and description. Special emphasis will be placed on processing and managing digital collections. Specific projects will be determined at the beginning of the internship program.
