Role Purpose

The Strategic Projects Intern supports key corporate initiatives by assisting with acquisition due diligence, business analysis, marketing initiatives, and other strategic projects. This position provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-functional business initiatives while developing practical business skills in a professional environment.

Scope & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned duties in accordance with documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Assist with acquisition due diligence activities, including organizing, reviewing, and maintaining confidential documents and project files.
  • Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining electronic data rooms and document repositories.
  • Support project teams by preparing spreadsheets, presentations, meeting notes, and project summaries.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, website content, and related communications projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support ongoing business projects.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial, operational, customer, and acquisition-related information.
  • Participate in project meetings and complete assigned follow-up activities.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Work Experience & Skills

Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Communications, or a related field.

Experience

  • Previous internship, project work, leadership experience, or extracurricular involvement is preferred but not required.

Skills / Knowledge

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new software applications quickly.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
