Position Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Generalist - Intern to join our Sales and Marketing team in a role with potential for growth. This hire will support the marketing team’s efforts to drive branding and messaging, ultimately resulting in a better connection with our customers. There will be the opportunity to engage in a wide range of marketing projects including slide deck development, social media posting, events management, and more. This hire will learn about public relations, brand strategy, and corporate communications in their work within the department.

The Marketing Associate must balance creativity and analytical thinking in their work. They should embody our core values and be excited to try new projects and approaches in their projects.

Primary Responsibilities

The near-term responsibilities of your role will include: 

  • Slide Management– Maintain theexistingportfolio of slides available for members to use and developadditionalslides. Partner with key stakeholdersto ensure slide messaging is connected to the market.
  • Event Coordination-Support conference and eventslogisticswith calendar management, internal communications, andmore.
  • Social Media Campaigns– Create LinkedIn campaigns for the LG Energy SolutionVertechpage. Support development of a LinkedIn thoughtleadership program to highlight expert voices in the company.

Education and Experience

Required:

  • Undergraduate or graduate classes in marketing, communications, English, design, or a related field of study
  • Expertisewith Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Interest in marketing, branding, communications, and PR
  • Excellent written communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with Adobe design suite and/or Canva
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Interest in design

Travel

  •  Up to 20% domestic and international travel will berequiredfor customer and supplier visits, collaboration with colleagues and industry trade shows and conferences.
