About the Role

Kela Technologies is a fast-growing, post-Series C defense technology company headquartered in Israel, with operations in both Israel and the United States.

We are looking for a sharp, motivated student to join our Finance team and play a meaningful role in scaling the function as the company grows.


About the Role

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real exposure to how a high-growth tech company runs its finance and operations engine from the inside. You will work closely with the Head of Bookkeeping and the broader Finance leadership team, supporting day-to-day operations while taking ownership of key recurring processes. The role offers exposure to corporate finance, bookkeeping, internal controls, and cross-functional operations, making it an excellent stepping stone for students pursuing careers in finance, accounting, or business.


Responsibilities:


  • Partner with the Head of Bookkeeping on managing and reconciling company expenses, including credit card transactions and supporting documentation.
  • Take ownership of expense management workflows and help drive process improvements.
  • Organize and maintain financial and operational documentation, contributing to a well-run back office.
  • Support recurring operational tasks and ad hoc projects across the Finance & Ops function.
  • Communicate and coordinate with employees across the company on documentation, approvals, and follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain trackers, spreadsheets, and reports that support decision-making.




Requirements

  • Year 2 or 3 B.A student in accounting - MUST
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starter mindset, with the ability to work independently and own tasks end-to-end.
  • Assertive and confident communicator, comfortable following up with stakeholders across the company.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Hebrew and English at a professional level.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
