Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role
As part of our team, you will explore state-of-the-art robotic architectures and support the development of flexible embedded hardware platforms. You will play an active role in implementing new functionalities and driving innovation in robotic systems.
  • Experience research: You will do literature research on existing solutions and state-of-the-art hardware system architectures of robots
  • Take responsibility: You build a flexible hardware platform for robot applications based on several MCUs and sensors and develop the corresponding C code
  • Shape the future: You will work on the development of new features and functions that optionally include AI/ML techniques
  • Identify needs: You create concise test reports, document code and present results as well as suggestions for improving the system architecture


Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Study field: You are currently studying electrical/computer engineering, computer science or similar
  • Experience: You have a background in embedded systems and have gained experience in programming microcontrollers and working with their peripherals. You also bring experience in FPGA development and ideally have initial experience with modeling and simulation tools
  • Skills: You have a solid understanding of digital design and computer architecture fundamentals, along with advanced proficiency in C programming. You are confident in working with microcontrollers or comparable DSPs and ideally bring a basic understanding of AI/ML techniques
