Within OpnSoft (OPmobility), the Product Cybersecurity team supports the development of automotive embedded systems in compliance with ISO/SAE 21434 and regulatory requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

As part of the team's growth, we are looking for a motivated apprentice to contribute to product cybersecurity activities on innovative, international projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a Cybersecurity Manager/Engineer, you will contribute to the following activities:

 

Product Cybersecurity

  • Support the implementation of cybersecurity activities in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

  • Contribute to Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA).

  • Assist in defining Cybersecurity Goals and Cybersecurity Requirements.

  • Participate in the preparation of cybersecurity deliverables, including the Cybersecurity Plan, Cybersecurity Concept, and Cybersecurity Case.

 

Project & Engineering Support

  • Assist in integrating cybersecurity requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Contribute to the traceability of cybersecurity requirements using ALM tools (e.g., Polarion, IBM DOORS).

  • Participate in vulnerability management and cybersecurity incident tracking.

  • Support software and systems engineering teams on cybersecurity-related topics.

 

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute to compliance activities related to the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

  • Participate in internal cybersecurity audits and security reviews.

  • Help improve cybersecurity processes, templates, and best practices.

  • Perform technology watch and monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, standards, and regulations.

 

Profile

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree (4th or 5th year) in one of the following fields:
  • Cybersecurity

  • Computer Science / Embedded Systems

  • Networks and Systems Engineering

 

Technical Skills

  • Solid knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (threats, security principles, cryptography, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of embedded systems and/or system architecture.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP); familiarity with CAN bus is a plus.

  • Interest in cybersecurity standards and regulations such as ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 27001, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and NIS2.

  • Good command of technical English.

 

Preferred Tools (Nice to Have)

  • ALM tools (IBM DOORS, Polarion, etc.).

  • Git and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

  • Basic programming skills in C, Python, or similar languages.

 

Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies.
