About the Role

Introduction 

 

  1. We are looking for a Student Intern to join our MLE (Mill Lining Engineering). In this role, you will perform simple calculations for the making of engineering and production drawings for products and tooling required for the manufacturing of wear resistant items, contributing to Support the MLE team members on out of ordinary design activities to better the performance of the team.

 You will report to the Mill lining Engineering leader for NCA Region. 

 

This role is based in Irapuato, Guanajuato MX. With flexible working options available. This is initially a temporary position with a contract lasting 6 months to 1 year.

 

 

Team you will belong to 

 

You will join a MLE team focused on Mill Lining Business Line. Our team plays a key role in the development of Mill Lining products to improve the comminution process in each of our clients' horizontal mills, while maintaining a focus on the quality of each of the components we design in the department, with a shared focus on always prioritizing production efficiency and safety in every project.  

 
Our team is based in Irapuato, Guanajuato MX, and our ways of working emphasize open and honest communication, getting things done – together, continuous learning, accountability.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Creating 3D Models in Inventor Autodesk. 
  • Creating 2D drawings for manufacturing to support the projects developed by MLE.
  • Creation of Excel spreadsheets as instructed.
  • Cleaning of drawings for migration or archiving purposes.
  • Review of some master data in S4.
  • Review Information in PDM Teamcenter
  • Engineering investigation of small projects to free up the design time of MLE members.

 

 

What you’ll bring 

  • Highly motivated individuals with ability to work under stress.
  • High level of computer skills is essential: Excel, Word, Power Point, Project, Teams, & Outlook.
  • Auto CAD 70% skill
  • Inventor 70% skill.
  • Knowledge of PDM Teamcenter is an asset.
