Description
Pittsburgh Botanic Garden inspires people to value plants, garden design and the natural world by cultivating plant collections of the Allegheny Plateau and temperate regions, creating display gardens, conducting educational programs, and conserving the environment. The core of our mission as a botanic garden is to help foster a connection between people and plants.

The enhanced information will enable and inform meaningful interdepartmental storytelling via Esri StoryMaps, social media posts, in-person programs, interpretive panels, and exhibits. The Biocultural Collections Intern will develop or improve skills for a career in cartography, natural resource management, anthropology, collection curation, and public horticulture.
A successful candidate is someone familiar with best practices for creating geospatial data layers, mapping products, and digital graphic content.
