About The Company
Fraunhofer IGD is the international leading institute for applied research in visual computing. Visual computing is image- and model-based information technology and includes computer graphics and computer vision, as well as virtual and augmented reality. Be part of change

You'll support the ATHENE office in the following areas:

  • Programming & automation: developing scripts (primarily in Python) to automate data processing and reporting workflows
  • Data preparation & cleaning: preparing and structuring heterogeneous, unstructured datasets while ensuring data quality
  • Deduplication / record linkage: identifying and merging duplicates using fuzzy matching methods (e.g. string similarity) and, where applicable, ML-based approaches
  • Database management: building, maintaining, and querying databases (e.g. SQL, Baserow)
  • Operations & infrastructure: contributing to the configuration and maintenance of the server and processing environment
  • Visualization & reporting: preparing results as meaningful visualizations and dashboards for scientific reporting
