Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot

  • Support implementation of REST APIs and microservices architecture

  • Work on event-driven integrations using Kafka (basic exposure / learning)

  • Participate in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Assist in API integration, data transformation, and middleware flows

  • Support debugging, defect fixing, and troubleshooting activities

  • Contribute to technical documentation (API specs, design)

  • Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams

  • Participate in code reviews and learning sessions

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

  • Diploma or degree in IT related courses

  • Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student

Experience

  • Handon development experience and can demonstrate strong understanding of fundamentals of requirements specification, design, coding, and testing of information systems

  • Experienced with the usage of Software design patterns

  • Some Experience In the usage of Java Spring boot, Camel.

  • Some Experience in using Confluent KAFKA.

  • Some Experience in the usages of RDBMS – MS SQL Server.

  • Some Experience in REST based APIs using JSON and web services

  • Experienced in using version control systems –Git, Github or ADO.

Other prerequisites

  • Applies well-defined and disciplined development, implementation, and production processes.

  • Proven & demonstrable hands-on experience in developing high-availability, multi-tiered and secure web applications

  • Good debugging and trouble shooting skills. Must have worked on IDEs – STS, IntelliJ, VSCode.
