About the Role

RINA is currently recruiting for a Internship - Transport Economist to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.

Mission

This role focuses on providing support to Transport Planning & Economics team in the development of economic analyses, transport studies, and logistics assessments. The candidate will contribe to projects related to mobility and freight transportation, economic evaluation of transport systems, and optimization of logistics and mobility solutions

Key Accountabilities

Support the development of cost-benefit analyses and economic-financial evaluations for transport and mobility projects.
Assist in the analysis of passenger and freight transport flows, including data collection, processing, and interpretation.
Contribute to the development of performance indicators, databases, and analytical tools supporting transport planning activities.
Participate in studies focused on efficiency, sustainability, innovation, and resilience within mobility and transport systems.
Carry out research, benchmarking, and market analysis activities to identify sector trends, best practices, and innovative solutions.
Support logistics and supply chain studies through the analysis of operational performance, critical issues, and potential optimization measures. #LI-AU5

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Transport and Logistics or Economics

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Maritime, Logistics or Transport Economics;
Good command of both Italian and English.
