About The Company
MassDEP serves the Commonwealth by protecting natural resource areas that involve water, land and air. MassDEP is responsible for ensuring clean air and water, safe management and recycling of solid and hazardous wastes, timely cleanup of hazardous waste sites and spills, and the preservation of wetlands and coastal resources. MassDEP enforces environmental laws, provides technical assistance to cities and towns, issues permits and licenses for activities near sensitive resources, inspects contaminated site cleanups, and partners with other federal and state agencies, municipal officials and environmental stakeholders.

Within the Executive Office of Education, Children’s Trust combines state/federal appropriations and fundraised dollars for the prevention of child abuse and neglect.  Children’s Trust is overseen by a board of directors, currently has about 36 employees, and also supports a 501c3 organization, Children’s Trust Fund, Inc.    

 

 

 

Mission: Children’s Trust partners with organizations and communities to drive systemic change that impacts the root causes of child abuse and neglect.

The Children’s Trust Marketing/Communications/Events unit is seeking a contracted employee who is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree (3rd or 4th year) in  Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field, to perform the following duties/essential duties: 

  1. Assist with website updates and modifications to enhance user experience and ensure accurate, engaging, and accessible content.

     

  2. Assist in pulling reports, analyzing metrics, and interpreting data to help evaluate the effectiveness of marketing, communications, and event strategies.

     

  3. Support and/or develop communication pieces (blog posts, social media posts, emails, etc.) to promote trainings, events, or other programmatic efforts.

  4. Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events by supporting logistical preparations, managing event materials, providing on-site assistance, and helping with post-event follow-up tasks as needed.

  5. Perform related duties as required.
