Work Schedule: 10- 20 hours a week - Wednesday - Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Desired Length of Employment: fall/spring

Pay Rate: $12.00/hr

  • In a student employee capacity, may assist in working with external community service partners.

Job Description:

Position Summary: Provide customer service (loading, making selections, measuring, etc.). Organize & maintain store inventory. Ensure that the store is clean and safe. Work with staff on merchandise pricing. Assist customers with measuring materials as needed and locating items in the store. This position has an emphasis on helping customers and donors load/unload their purchases/donations. Will need to assist donation coordinator and answer the phone when needed. Will need to possess good verbal & human relations skills. Bi-lingual is preferred, but not required. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stand, squat, bend and climb in/out of truck, spend extending time on your feet and work in an unconditioned warehouse environment. MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY.
