We are seeking a student assistant, to be based in our HQ location in Hedehusene joining our Group Commercial Excellence department. Group Commercial Excellence was formed in early 2023 as a merge between Sales and Digital Marketing, with a vision of delivering a superior customer experience across all touchpoints, by owning the full customer funnel from lead to cash.

We are a diverse team of thirty colleagues being eight different nationalities and divided into three smaller specialist teams that focus on improving and building digital channels, ensuring outstanding customers interactions. You will be joining a team of six members, the Pipeline and lead mgmt. team which focuses on Campaign management, ad-tech platforms, Marketing Automation, CRM platforms at ROCKWOOL and sales engagement strategies.
What you will be doing
As Student Assistant – Sales Excellence, you will support our Lead Management team in optimizing pipeline generation, sales processes and driving commercial impact across the organization. You will work closely with Commercial Excellence colleagues and digital Product Owners to improve how we manage leads, structure sales briefs, and use our digital platforms. Your work will combine data analysis, process mapping and preparing concrete recommendations and materials that help sales teams work smarter and deliver better results. The role is on-site in the Copenhagen area for a minimum of 15 hours and up to 20 hours per week and well suited for a first-year master’s student who wants to apply commercial theory in a real business setting.
Key Responsibilities
Support optimization of core sales excellence processes such as lead capture and management, sales briefs, pipeline meetings and opportunity follow-up.
Analyse marketing and sales performance and pipeline data in Excel to identify trends, gaps and growth opportunities.
Translate complex analysis and processes into clear, compelling visual narratives using PowerPoint and data visualization tools, ensuring stakeholders can easily understand and act on key insights.
Prepare clear and compelling presentations in PowerPoint to support decision-making and communication with sales stakeholders.
Work with Product Owners to test, document and improve ways of working in our sales platforms.
Contribute to defining and documenting capabilities, processes and best practices within Sales Excellence.
Structure and project lead our OPCO engagement initiatives such as our Commercial Excellence track on the Renovation Program.
Manage administrative tasks including ad-network invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor payment processing to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation.
What you bring
Currently enrolled in a relevant master’s program (e.g. business, economics, marketing, management, or similar), preferably in your first year.
Demonstrated experience or exposure to commercial excellence / sales excellence / commercial project management where you have contributed to business growth.
Concrete cases of how you have helped deliver commercial results (e.g. improved a process, increased conversion, supported a campaign, sharpened reporting).
Strong structured and analytical mindset; comfortable working with data in Excel and drawing clear conclusions.
Self-driven, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of smaller tasks and projects with guidance from the team.
Advantage (not required): experience with Ad-Tech platform such as (Meta and Google Ads), CRM systems and/or Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken; Danish is an advantage but not a requirement.

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary:
Bachelor students: 160 DKK/hour
Master students: 175 DKK/hour
Transportation allowance: 1000 DKK/month
