About the Role

Noble Studios is seeking an enthusiastic and diligent Accounting Intern to temporarily join our accounting and finance team part-time (aka, 15-25 hours per week) for up to six months in our Reno, NV headquarters. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the internal workings of accounting and operations within a privately held company before you complete your relevant degree. What You’ll Do

  • Accurately and quickly complete data entry, digital and paper file maintenance, and document organization.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor invoice processing.
  • Help with month-end closing procedures and other financial reporting tasks.
  • Scan incoming mail and record client receipts.
  • Make bank deposits.
  • Recommend and draft updates to our standard operating procedures, best practices, and guidelines related to accounting and operations tasks.
  • Support some administrative tasks for Accounting including handling incoming and outgoing emails, mail and phone calls, and assisting with scheduling appointments, meetings and events.
  • May support with Office Management tasks such as organizing filing, handle incoming/outgoing mail, maintaining supplies, etc.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to perform other duties as needed.

What You’ll Bring - Needed Experience & Skills

  • A minimum of an in-progress Associate’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Data Science.
  • Expertise in basic accounting principles.
  • Previous office experience in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Some knowledge of at least one accounting software program.
  • Very comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with others and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Superb accuracy when working with data and ability to double check own work for errors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand data.,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to learning and ability to adapt to new skills quickly.

  • We prefer Nevada-based applicants, but...
    • We may also consider those in California, Arizona & Washington, assuming you are available to travel if needed.
    • Travel is typically once per quarter for Production & Operations and may be once per month for Leadership, Sales, Account Manager & Project Manager roles.
  • Most Leadership, Sales and Account Manager roles must qualify as someone who drives on behalf of Noble Studios, which requires a valid state Driver’s License, 2+ years of driving experience, a clean driving record, and at least $100,000/$30,000 bodily injury and $100,000 property damage auto insurance coverage.
