Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the team as an Intern - Compliance, Health & Safety. This role will enable you to support the Compliance & Risk Management team in maintaining health, safety, and compliance standards by assisting with documentation, awareness activities, audits, and compliance-related projects while gaining practical exposure to compliance operations within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing health, safety, and compliance awareness programs and training sessions.
- Support the maintenance of compliance-related documents, records, and filing systems.
- Assist in preparing materials for audits, inspections, and internal assessments.
- Support workplace inspections and safety observations under supervision.
- Assist in updating compliance trackers, action logs, and reports.
- Help coordinate awareness initiatives such as posters, campaigns, and employee communications.
- Support compliance projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Liaise with internal teams to collect information required for compliance reporting.
Qualifications:
- Currently following a Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental
- Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
