About the Role

Purpose of Position

This is a 6-month onsite full-time internship. The successful candidate will be a part of the Korea Retail team standing as one of the fastest growing markets to strengthen the brand's retail presence and ensure seamless store operations. The Retail Intern will provide cross-functional support across day-to-day retail operations, visual merchandising (VM) execution, store management, and the planning of special retail activations. 


Job Description

     Retail Operations

  • Support day-to-day retail operations across Korea stores.
  • Handle customs clearance, inbound shipments, store orders, and inventory management.
  • Support the creation and tracking of stock transfers and transit orders.
  • Monitor and resolve retail system issues.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze store inventory data to support store operations.
  • Communicate with Global teams and local vendors to ensure smooth retail operations.
  • Follow up on and consolidate operational requests from internal and external stakeholders.

     Visual Merchandising & Store Management

  • Support visual merchandising execution in accordance with Global VM guidelines.
  • Assist with collection launches, including storyboard translation, timeline tracking, and VM material ordering.
  • Manage in-store POP, including agency coordination, design production, order placement, and delivery.
  • Coordinate store facility maintenance, repair requests, and related expense processing.

     Retail Projects & Activations

  • Support the planning and execution of pop-up stores, retail activations, and marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with new store openings, store relocations, and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional communication with Global teams, local vendors, landlords, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely project execution.
  • Provide operational support during store events, campaigns, and special projects.

     Administrative Support

  • Prepare and submit operational reports, work plans, and retail documentation.
  • Translate internal documents and operational materials between Korean and English as needed.
  • Support ad-hoc retail operation projects and perform other operational duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • University degree or above in any discipline (or expected to graduate)
  • Native Korean speaker with strong command of both written and spoken English
  • Independent, detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to multitask
  • Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
  • At least 1 year of experience in the retail industry is preferred
