About the Role

Clerical Assistant-Student Affairs (Federal Work Study Only), SF1CLERSTUAF (FA26)

The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Provide support to program manager with clerical and administrative assistant duties, event planning, social medial management and data entry tasks.

Answer phones and greet guests.
Assist with student inquiries and perform general clerical duties.
• Assist program manager with creating promotional materials.
Assist with event-related activities, such as planning, event operations and promotions through social media communications.
Assist with event assessment tasks.

• Assist with social media content and completing online surveys.



Required Qualifications:

THIS IS A STUDENT JOB.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for Fall/Spring semester or 1 credit hour for Summer semester.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above.
If a first semester student, GPA requirement is waived.

Must be proficient in Adobe, Canva, and Microsoft Applications.
Good communication skills required; verbal, as well as written required.
Proficient in social media; ability to post on Facebook and Twitter required.
Experience working with Adobe preferred;  INDesign a plus.

Student Rate 1 - $15.00 per hour/Based on minimum qualifications 15.00 - 15.00
