About the Role

Description

The Procurement Intern will support the internal procurement team by improving the accuracy, consistency, and usability of vendor and internal data within our ERP system. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn how data drives procurement operations.


Essential Functions:

  • ERP Data Cleanup — Review, update, and standardize item, vendor, and purchasing records to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Vendor Data Management — Validate vendor profiles, pricing, lead times, and contact information, correct inconsistencies.
  • Internal Data Alignment — Work with the procurement team to ensure internal data reflects current processes,      requirements, and sourcing strategies.
  • Process Documentation — Document updates, changes, and data standards for future reference.
  • Data Accuracy Audits — Perform routine checks to identify missing fields, outdated information, or conflicting entries.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration — Partner with buyers, operations, and inventory teams to gather correct information and ensure alignment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing  a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and structured data
  • Interest in procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems
  • Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of procurement or supply chain concepts

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Corporate office environment
  • Regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions
  • Exposure to industrial environments and materials.
  • This job regularly requires verbal communication of  detailed information to others either by phone or in person

 Job Type:  Part Time, Temporary
Salary Range:  $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:  16+ hrs. per week
