Sanofi (Tuas) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join our Procurement team.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced procurement environment within a leading global pharmaceutical company.

The successful candidate will support the procurement team in day-to-day operations, vendor management, and strategic sourcing activities, contributing to Sanofi's mission of delivering health solutions to patients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Procurement Site Lead for the consolidation, prioritization and value creation of all third party spend of Sanofi Modulus Tuas site
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Key Supplier Operational Leader, Finance, Supply Chain and Global Lead Buyers as required
  • Support Procurement and KSOL in vendor management activities, including maintaining supplier databases and tracking vendor performance
  • Lead, attend meetings (internal and vendor) representing Procurement during the absence of Procurement Site Lead
  • Conduct online research and supplier evaluations to support sourcing decisions and identify potential new vendors
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Provide Procurement related administrative support such as organising vendor interactions, preparing meeting minutes, and timely update of Procurement trackers

About You
 

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous internship or work experience in any field
  • Candidates from Polytechnic or University programmes are welcome to apply
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Power BI, Data Analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain concepts, or sourcing strategies
  • Familiarity with any procurement systems or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Oracle)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
