About the Role

De stage bestaat vooral uit bezoeken aan diverse diensten die actief zijn op het vlak van onderzoek en bestralingsbescherming m.b.t. werknemers op het SCKCEN (personendosimetrie, anthropogammametrie, lage activiteitsmetingen, noodplanning, gebruik stralingscontroleapparatuur, laboratoria nabestralingsonderzoek, BR2-reactor, BR1-reactor/Guinevere, ontmantelingsproject BR3,...). Er is ook een bezoek voorzien aan BELGOPROCESS (beheer radioactief afval in Belgie).

Objectieven

De stage kadert in de vereisten voor arbeidsartsen die een wettelijke erkenning door het FANC/AFCN dienen te bekomen om het arbeidsgeneeskundig toezicht te mogen uitvoeren over werknemers beroepshalve blootgesteld aan ioniserende straling volgens het KB van 20.07.2001 (zie ARBIS, art. 75: Erkenning van Geneesheren)
