Job Description

THE ANALYST (M&A / TRANSACTION ADVISORY) ROLE

As an Analyst, you will work on internal and client projects and will play a key role in gathering and analyzing data, preparing process-related documentation, conducting comprehensive market and business analyses, and identifying strategic opportunities. Ideal candidates have strong analytical, problem-solving, and people skills.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Conduct secondary research to collect and analyze information about markets, competition and companies.

  • Support in the preparation of process-related marketing documents (Teaser, Information Memorandum, Management Presentations), client reports, and board presentations.

  • Screening and qualification of potential target companies and generation long- and shortlisting for clients

  • Assist in the development of financial valuations (transaction and trading multiples, DCF).

  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

  • Monitor important developments, initiatives, legislation, corporate activities, and M&A transactions, and contribute to industry reports and thought leadership initiatives.

PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Student or Graduate with an excellent academic record in Business (e.g., Management, Economics, Finance) or Life Sciences majors (e.g., Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering) with business experience.

  • Excellent proficiency and prior experience with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent business English, both written and verbal.

  • Additional language and previous experience in the Health Care industry, Finance or Consulting are a plus.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written communication, time management, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

  • Strong finance basis and company valuation techniques for the M&A Analyst position
