We are looking for interns who will join our team as: Software Engineering Intern – Test Automation & AI

FIS is a global financial services technology company that provides software, data, and operational solutions to banks, asset managers, and capital markets institutions worldwide.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and modern testing frameworks

• Support the design and execution of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify automation opportunities across the software lifecycle

• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document findings for stakeholders

• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, code quality, and developer productivity

• Contribute to test framework enhancements, reusable components, and automation standards

• Assist in validating application performance, usability, and reliability

• Support CI/CD pipeline integration and automated quality checks

• Create technical documentation, test plans, and knowledge-sharing materials

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement

What you will bring :

• Currently pursuing a degree or equivalent skills-based education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Knowledge of software development fundamentals and programming concepts

• Understanding JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or a similar programming language

• Understanding of software testing principles, test design, and quality assurance practices

• Familiarity with Playwright or interest in modern browser automation technologies

• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• High attention to detail and willingness to learn

• Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Playwright test automation frameworks and Page Object Model design patterns

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and generative AI technologies

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery practices

• Knowledge of API testing and web technologies

• Understanding cloud platforms, containers, or DevOps concepts
