About the Role

Description

This position will be a temporary or contract assignment. 


The HR Coordinator/Intern (Contract/Temporary) supports talent acquisition efforts across multiple locations nationwide while providing administrative support to the HR department. This role serves as a key partner in the recruiting process, helping to attract, screen, and onboard qualified candidates while ensuring HR records, systems, and documentation remain accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 


Essential Functions:

  • Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly, skilled trades, warehouse, manufacturing, and professional positions across multiple locations.
  • Post job openings to internal and external job boards, company websites, social media platforms, and recruiting sources.
  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screenings.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure candidate records are current and accurate.
  • Build candidate pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Communicate regularly with candidates regarding application status and next steps.
  • Assist with employment offers, background checks, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HR files are complete and compliant.
  • Process employment-related documentation, including new hire paperwork, personnel changes, and terminations.
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR data.
  • Assist with audits, compliance initiatives, and record retention requirements.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and departmental initiatives.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience supporting high-volume or multi-location recruiting preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of recruiting, HR, administrative, or customer service experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to sit for long periods of time
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel
  • Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 15 pounds
