About the Role


Essential Functions:
• Collaborate effectively with technical staff and all functional groups.
• Take on special technical assignments as required. 
• Performs routine engineering-related work requiring the application of educational study and standard techniques and procedures.
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
Non-Essential Functions:

Minimum Qualifications:
• Experience: Relevant course selections from college/university program
• Knowledge: Understand basic Engineering principles; taken courses in related 
Science/Engineering field; a strong aptitude for analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills; familiar with engineering drawings and schematics. 
• Skills/Abilities: Self-directed/motivated, and work and communicate well within a team that 
consists of several engineering disciplines; effective English communication in presentations, analyses, and reports; must be project-oriented and be able to multi-task; proficiency with 
Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Word.
• Education/Certification: Must be actively pursuing a BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent) from a four-year college or university.
• Eligibility Requirement: Must be a US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with modeling or simulation (ie. Simulink) a plus.
• Previous Intern or Co-Op experiences a plus.
Working Conditions:
• Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited 
to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other 
required PPE
• Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs. 
• Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
Standing: 10%
Sitting: 90%
Lifting (in pounds): up to 25 pounds
Pushing (in pounds): up to 25 pounds
Mental/Visual: Use of microscope and computer.
Workspace (line, cube, etc): desk
