The opportunity

Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works, and industries do business. We constantly push the limits of convention, while retaining our focus on delivering solid returns for our customers and shareholders.

You will contribute and support the team to achieve successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD).

We are seeking a student or a graduate in the field of electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent) to join our R&D team for an internship. The internship, with expected duration of 6 months, can also have the purpose of developing a thesis.

How you'll make an impact

Support various R&D projects for power transformers design and design review tools improvements and/or for new emerging technologies and solutions.

Your background

  • Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent).
  • Power transformer technology knowledge will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus
  • Programming experience is considered a plus
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Outlook. Programming experience is considered a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic R&D environment
  • Good spoken and written English.
