Missions of the job
Are you looking for an exciting MBO internship where you can apply your laboratory knowledge in a real manufacturing environment?
As a Laboratory Technician Intern, you will become part of our Quality Control team, support the daily laboratory activities while gain hands-on experience in analytical techniques, quality systems and continuous improvement projects.
During your internship, you will not only learn how a production laboratory operates but also contribute to projects that improve laboratory methods and efficiency. This internship offers the opportunity to develop your technical skills while working alongside experienced laboratory professionals.
Responsibilities
During your internship you will support the laboratory team by:
- Performing routine quality control analyses on raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
- Preparing samples and laboratory equipment for analysis.
- Assisting with laboratory documentation and administrative tasks.
- Supporting the verification and optimization of analytical methods.
- Participating in laboratory improvement and continuous improvement projects.
- Helping maintain laboratory equipment, chemicals and consumables.
- Ensuring laboratory activities comply with safety and quality procedures.
- Collaborating with colleagues from Production, QA and Supply Chain.
Requirements for the job
Hard Skills
- Currently enrolled in an MBO Level 4 programme in Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Life Sciences or a related field.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and analytical methods.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety (HSE) and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Interest in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of analytical equipment (e.g. HPLC, GC or similar) is an advantage but not required.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Good communication skills in Dutch; good English is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Eager to learn and have a proactive attitude.
- Curious mindset with an interest in laboratory science.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team players who enjoy collaborating with different departments.
- Able to follow procedures while also suggesting improvements.

- Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
