About the Role

Position Overview:

As an Event Specialist Intern, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events and activities. You will work closely with the Marcom BU team to ensure successful and engaging experiences for attendees, while gaining valuable insights into the event management process.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and execution of events.
  • Support the development of event marketing materials, including invitations and other content.
  • Help manage event registrations and communicate with attendees to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on event objectives and deliverables.
  • Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to enhance event quality.
  • Assist with on-site event management, including setup, registration, and attendee support.
  • Collect feedback post-event to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Active student (max. 7th semester) currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with event management software is a plus.
  • Passion for event planning and a desire to learn.
