Pay Range: $19.50 - $21.63 per hour

Hours Available: Monday-Friday [8:00am-4:30pm] | Saturday-Sunday [OFF], Some Flexibility Needed

We are offering a Monday through Friday schedule for our Behavior Support Intern position located in Port Henry, NY.

What you get to do:

Learn and assist in the process for evaluating and writing Functional Behavior Assessments, Behavior Support Plans and Monitoring Plans.

Work collaboratively with, support and advise Clinical Training Specialists.

Observe and participate with the clinical skill acquisition or Discrete Trial Instruction to individuals in need of additional support for learning.

Requirements: Pursuing a Master’s Degree in a clinical treatment field in Psychology, Social Work, School Psychology or a related human services field, or New York State License in Mental Health Counseling. ABA program preferred.

Must have at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, some knowledge in assessment and development of behavioral programs, the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be willing to complete RBT Training.
