About the Role

Company Description

The Hoxton, Brussels is our first hotel in Belgium, occupying a brutalist-style tower building and the former European headquarters of IBM. It features 198 rooms of various sizes, a lofty double-height lobby, a bar, a coffee bar, a Peruvian-inspired restaurant - Cantina Valentina, a rooftop bar – TOPE - that offers stunning views across the city, and The Apartment, our unique meetings & events concept.

Job Description

What you'll do...

  • Assist the F&B department with daily administrative tasks
  • Help cover service when necessary (increase of activity, sickness, etc.)
  • Help the operational team by creating the SOP according to the needs and requests of the managers
  • Understand the needs in terms of staff according to the days/events/trainings
  • Be the link between the hotel and the “Occasionnels” (extras, students and flexi) and communicate their shifts on a weekly basis via Strobbo.
  • Help managers in different projects
  • Distribute the uniforms and maintain the stock and initiate the ordering process when the stock is too low.
  • Create, update and communicate food and drink bibles, new menus and tastings
  • Help the hostesses if necessary
  • Know how to use the different tools (Sevenrooms, Micros, etc.)
  • Analyze and respond to customer comments (Trip Advisor, Google review, etc.)
  • Create and collect information in order to establish various reports
  • Be the Micros referent (Micros champion)
  • Track labor costs
  • Assistance in the preparation of schedules via Strobbo
  • Participation and animation of team briefings
  • Purchase orders and tracking
  • Participation in end-of-month inventories

  • Management of Sevenrooms with F&B Reservation Agent
  • Creation and monitoring of various F&B projects
