About the Role
CIMA Internship (SA) – Origin Wine, Stellenbosch

Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape
Duration: 12-Month Internship
Start Date: As soon as possible

About the Opportunity
Origin Wine is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious graduate to join our Finance team as a CIMA Intern. This internship is designed for individuals who are passionate about management accounting and are looking to gain practical experience while working towards their CIMA qualification.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within the South African wine industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Assist with cost analysis and stock reconciliations.
  • Analyse financial data and prepare management reports.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring and financial planning.
  • Support internal controls and compliance processes.
  • Participate in finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform general finance and administrative duties as required.

Minimum Requirements
  • Reside close to our location
  • South African citizen.
  • Completed or currently completing a BCom Accounting, BCom Management Accounting, BCom Financial Management, or equivalent qualification.
  • Eligible to pursue or currently registered with CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).
  • Strong academic record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
