Job Title: Finance Team Intern 

FLSA Status: Non exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Intern will assist in daily accounting activities in cash collections, accounts payable, and accounting software maintenance. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The intern should be prepared to spend 16-20 hours per week in an office environment. The intern will assist with: Corporate credit card reconciliations, Branch cash and checks deposits, accounting software naming conventions, essential filing, and other duties as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Student in an accredited school pursuing a degree with a business and/or financial major


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit (including on the floor) for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight.
  • Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency
