About the Role

Supervisor/Manager: Susanne Lewis/Leah Knapp 

Department: Natural Science and Mathematics 

Position: Biology Animal Care Assistant

Schedule: Full academic year, 1 hour per day/5 hours per week

Biology Animal Care

This position requires the worker to feed department animals, clean enclosures, monitor animals for health problems and other maintenance needs; assist student volunteers in handling animals; work with professors in presenting animals in teaching venues

Workers must adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, masks) when working with cleaning materials and removing soiled bedding

Required Credentials: Previous experience with department animals along with approval of Dr. Knapp
