About the Role

Name of the Project: Business Process Management Practices Implementation

Vice Presidency: P&IT

Region: Central

Intern’s Location (Office): Campus CX Mty

 

Eligible Semester(s): 8th - 10th semester

Careers of Interest: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Strategy and Transformation, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Business Digital Transformation Engineering, Innovation and Development Engineering.

Schedule Availability: Between 25 and 30 hours per week

Period of Stay at CEMEX: 6 months, with the option of renewal

Tentative Start Date: September 2026

 

Project Objective

Support the implementation of Business Process Management practices as an integral part of positioning processes as the first step toward improvement and innovation. In addition, participate in automation projects for different areas and functions across Cemex.

 

Challenges for the Students

  • Work with team members from different cultures located across different time zones.
  • Participate in solving complex and not clearly defined problems.
  • Mobilize the BPM culture.

 

Main Responsibilities and Activities to Be Carried Out

Participate as an active agent in mobilizing the process culture.

  • Research and collect relevant data to support process analysis.
  • Support the collection and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Work closely with senior consultants to support the implementation of recommended process changes.
  • Communicate process initiatives and changes to stakeholders, including the preparation of the necessary digital and physical materials.

 Participate as an active agent in mobilizing the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) offering.

  • Identify automation opportunities through RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
  • Generate conversations that may lead to an RPA request.
  • Manage updates to the RPA database.
  • Participate in developing go-to-market strategies for the RPA offering.

Training and documentation:

  • Participate in the development of materials (process documentation, presentations, and other related resources).
  • Participate in assigned training and development programs.

 

Specific Requirements / Qualifications

  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork
  • Data management and utilization skills for analysis and problem-solving
  • Microsoft collaboration tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • English (conversational and written) – ESSENTIAL
