About the Role
The Accounting/Finance Assistant will support the Finance and Accounts team in carrying out daily financial and accounting activities. The intern will gain practical experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, reconciliations, and compliance while developing professional accounting and financial management skills.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records and accounting documents.
Support the processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and expense claims.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.
Help prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Organize and maintain accounting files and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.
Assist with internal and external audit preparations.
Perform data entry into accounting systems with accuracy.
Carry out other finance and accounting duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
