Join our team in the Stuttgart Design Center and help build a powerful Automotive Vulnerability Management Tool that enables engineers and cybersecurity specialists to manage security risks more effectively across the entire product lifecycle.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cybersecurity, software engineering, and automotive standards while working on a project that directly supports the security and reliability of future mobility solutions.
What a typical day looks like:
- Design and develop a Python-based Automotive Vulnerability Management Tool that supports cybersecurity activities throughout the product lifecycle, from development to post-production.
- Create and optimize workflows for collecting, organizing, assessing, and tracking security-related information, including CVEs, SBOMs, and software dependencies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and PSIRT teams to transform security data into actionable insights that support effective risk management and decision-making.
- Contribute to automotive cybersecurity compliance by developing solutions aligned with ISO/SAE 21434 and helping strengthen product security processes across projects.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Python (clean coding practices, modules/packages, object-oriented programming, testing)
- Basic knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts (vulnerabilities, CVE, CWE, SBOM/dependencies) and Software Engineering principles (Git, code reviews, issue tracking, documentation) and/or the automotive industry
- Interest in ISO/SAE 21434 and vulnerability management processes across the product lifecycle
- Experience with data processing (Pandas), APIs, lightweight web applications (FastAPI, Flask, Streamlit), or databases such as SQLite and PostgreSQL
- Structured and self-driven way of working, with strong communication skills in English or German
