About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting the MBPS Compliance team in its oversight of the Compliance Management Program in MBPS, specifically on the following areas:

  • Support the MBPS Compliance Officer, in oversight roles to MBPS in ensuring that effective compliance management controls and processes are in place to comply with regulatory requirements and compliance reporting is timely completed at the regional and local level.
  • Keep MBPS Compliance Officer, MBPS management and Global Compliance Office abreast of the new regulatory requirements, compliance issues and their business impact, alert them of high-risk areas, and recommend action to mitigate possible regulatory and reputation consequences.
  • Coordinator for Compliance programs (Testing, Training, Regulatory Reporting, Global Policy
  • Database, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Information Campaigns)
  • To provide support in compliance communication, reporting and sharing of information.
  • To maintain close and trustworthy relationship with MBPS teams.
  • To provide suggestion for streamlining and enhancement.
  • Ad hoc task that may arise in support to MBPS Compliance

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in bachelor’s degree in Office Administration, Legal, Finance, Business or related fields is preferred
  • Good people skills, creative and open minded, willingness to learn and adaptive to change.
  • Experience in Compliance / Legal / Audit is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of products including MS Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Fluent in English, good English-language writing skills
  • Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Diligent in meeting given deadlines.
  • Knowledge in Axios Brevity Method is a plus.
