About the Role

 I.PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Under the direction of the Director of Lean Processes this person will be responsible for developing and updating production work instructions that relate to the safe, high quality and efficient manufacture of products at Brasstech.

II.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops work instructions following standard format.
  • Distributes completed work instructions for approval and follows up to obtain approvals in a timely manner, making any corrections as deemed necessary.
  • Uploads approved work instructions to the Brasstech Intranet System.
  • Updates Work Instructions as required per Engineering Changes (EN’s) or process changes.
  • Participates in team-based process improvement activities:5S, kaizen, Lean Manufacturing practices, cost reduction, etc.

III.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None

IV.KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Student.
  • No experience necessary.
  • Experience working with MS Office software.
