Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)


In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

This role is contributing to the measurement and analytical products in AUMA Business unit in ABB engineering shanghai LTD.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Statistical analysis of production hours for products on the production line, by observing and measuring the production process routes of different products, calculating the working hours, analyzing and processing the data, and obtaining accurate working hours that meet statistical rules for the products and seek the opportunity to optimize process.
  •  Improve existing fixtures used on the production line to enhance their accuracy and reliability, thereby improving product quality and reducing production time.
  •  Through observation and analysis, new technologies and ideas are used to improve the current process, reduce manufacturing costs, and improve products quality.
  • Organize and standardize technical documents ( working instruction , technical requirement and manufacturing guidance....)
  • Assist others engineers belong the same team in completing improvement project , new product introduction and team's others tasks to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • currently studying as an undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Have a certain design ability in mechanical design and fixture design.
  • skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point and AutoCAD
  • Have a certain professional knowledge in electrical automation.
  • Have a certain understanding of production process route design and lean production.
  • Possess a certain level of hands-on ability.
