About the Role

Manufacturing Intern


We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Intern at our Malaysia facility. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Intern will support and assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in activities focused on enhancing manufacturing excellence and improving overall productivity. This role provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and documentation practices.

 

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Supporting production line monitoring to meet quality and productivity targets.
  • Assisting with the preparation and compliance of manufacturing documentation such as work instructions and procedures.
  • Contributing to quality and continuous improvement activities through data collection and root cause analysis.
  • Adhering to safety and environmental health policies by promoting safe work practices and reporting concerns.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or closely related field.

Other Requirements:

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
  • Strong in data collection and analytical skill.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good knowledge about Microsoft excels intermediate or advanced level.
  • Desire to drive accountability across project teams and cross functional teams.
