About the Role

Job Summary:

Office Assistant will work in the Admission Office with prospective students assisting with Campus Experiences.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with prospective students, send postcards, assemble informational packets, etc. 
  • Assist with Admissions Counselors during travel and recruitment seasons, including correspondence with incoming students, their families, and high school counselors. 
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and manage various projects as assigned. 
  • Assist with recruitment events on campus as needed.
  • Help as needed in the Admission Office.

  • Extensive knowledge of Drury’s history, facilities, academic programs, extra-curricular activities, and services.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and oral forms.
  • Positive, honest, and enthusiastic attitude is needed to convey Drury in an attractive manner.
  • Knowledge of Springfield and Ozarks area attractions and events, and neighborhood characteristics.
  • Must be responsible, and dependable, and must have a professional appearance.

 

Education and Experience: 

  • Must be a regular, full-time student, enrolled in at least 12 hours per semester
  • Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year
