About The Company
We are on a mission to solve short-term loss of income for individuals, globally. We are a b2b2c company with a razor focus on embedded parametric micro insurance triggers that look after micro entrepreneurs, gig workers and individuals’ short-term income loss - effectively helping them stay on their feet when events cause income loss or take money out of their pocket. Our MiIncome digital reinsurance solution is embedded into platform companies, carriers, and brokers – supporting simple and relevant insurance products that protect specific needs unserved by traditional insurance. We are a full stack digital micro insurance company, with underwriting capacity via our Lloyd's Syndicate 5183 and MIC Re in Anguilla. We deliver embedded micro insurance products to global partners, accommodating projects of all sizes and scope.
About the Role

About the role:

MIC Global is an insurtech MGA and Lloyd's cover holder, building a cloud-native platform
that serves clients across the US, UK, and LATAM. We're looking for someone early in their
career who wants to build a foundation in cloud infrastructure and platform support —
working on real systems, not simulations.

Prior Azure experience isn't expected. Curiosity and follow-through are.

This isn't an internship quota we're filling. We're hiring for a full-time infrastructure seat,
and this is how we hire into it.

What you'll work on:
~ Day-to-day operational support across our cloud environment
~ Monitoring system health, triaging alerts, and working alongside engineers through incidents
~ Environment setup, provisioning, and routine maintenance
~ Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling
~ Writing runbooks and documentation people can actually follow
~ Understanding how security, access control, and compliance operate in a regulated financial services environment
You'll be working closely with senior infrastructure and platform engineers throughout.

What you'll bring:

~ Recent graduate or final-year student in CS, IT, or a related field
~ Solid fundamentals in networking and operating systems
~ Basic scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python — you've written something that does a real job
~ Genuine curiosity — you want to understand why something broke, not just restart it
~ Ownership: you follow through, flag what you don't know, and don't let things quietly slip
~ Comfort in a fast-moving team where priorities shift and clarity is often something you have to go find
~ Clear written communication — you'll be documenting a lot
~ Azure certifications (AZ-900 or similar) are welcome but not required.

What you get:
~ Close mentorship from experienced infrastructure and platform engineers
~ A production environment at real scale, not a sandbox
~ Room to take on real ownership quickly if you show you can carry it
~ A clear path to a full-time offer. Strong performers convert.
