[Uni – Jan till Jun 2027] AI Presales & Solution Engineering Intern

The interns will be part of the AI Mission Engineering team, supporting enterprise-level AI application development, presales solutioning, and proof-of-concept delivery for government and commercial clients. Through this project, the interns will gain exposure to how AI is applied in real-world public sector and scientific use cases, where data correlation, explainability, workflow design, and operational usability are important. They may support the development of AI-assisted search, report generation, structured and unstructured data processing, dashboard prototypes, API integrations, and user-facing demo features.

Beyond the project, the interns will also support other AI presales and solution engineering initiatives across the Mission Engineering team. This includes helping Mission Engineers build client demos, conduct technical research, prepare proposal materials, support tender responses, clarify client requirements, and turn business problem statements into early-stage AI prototypes. The role gives interns exposure to the full early lifecycle of enterprise AI projects, from idea shaping and requirements gathering to demo development, POC delivery, and proposal support.

What You’ll Do:
The interns will work closely with Mission Engineers, Solution Architects, and AI developers to support AI presales, POC development, and early-stage delivery work.

Their day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Supporting the development of AI demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts for client engagements.
• Assisting with requirements gathering by documenting client pain points, use cases, functional requirements, and technical considerations.
• Conducting research on suitable AI technologies, frameworks, architecture patterns, and implementation approaches.
• Helping prepare proposal, tender, and presentation materials, including solution write-ups, technical diagrams, demo flows, and project scope descriptions.
• Building or enhancing AI-enabled features such as document processing, information extraction, semantic search, RAG workflows, agentic AI workflows, automated reporting, and dashboard prototypes.

• Strong interest in AI, GenAI, agentic AI, enterprise applications, and emerging technologies.
• Willing to learn basic Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or a similar language programming.
• Ability to break down ambiguous business problems into structured tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, as the intern may support requirements documentation, proposal writing, and demo preparation.
• Self-driven, proactive, and willing to learn quickly in a fast-moving presales and POC environment
