About the Role

Munich Re Retakaful is Munich Re Group’s worldwide Retakaful operations business, focusing on providing Islamic Retakaful solutions to our clients in Malaysia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

 

We are looking for a Human Resources, Business or Finance Intern to support our Human Resources and Finance departments. You will report to the Human Resource Manager and work closely with other associates within Munich Re Retakaful.

 

 

Your Job

  • Support daily Human Resources and Finance operations, including employee administration, records management, and finance-related activities.
  • Assist in maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, coordinating onboarding activities, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.
  • Support finance administration processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and expense claim administration.
  • Assist with HR and Finance projects, process improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to support the timely completion of HR and Finance-related tasks and deliverables.

 

 

Your Profile

  • Pursuing a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related fields.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in relevant business applications and tools required for the role. (Specify the exact tools required rather than referring broadly to Microsoft Office.)
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives and demonstrating a willingness to learn.
  • The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
