Join us as a Procurement Intern to make an impact!  

 

Location: Kallang 

 

Kick-start your career in Procurement with a role that offers real responsibility and meaningful learning. This internship gives you hands-on experience in supporting the Procurement team in delivering efficient, compliant, and value-driven sourcing activities by assisting with supplier management, data analysis, purchase order administration, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing strong procurement and supply chain management capabilities.  

You will gain real exposure to the manufacturing environment, commodity management, supply risk assessment, and cost analysis. 

 

What will you do:

Procurement Operations Support

  • Support in resolving supply issues such as material delays, quantity discrepancies, or invoice mismatches. 
  • Work closely with plant planners, warehouse, and suppliers to ensure material availability. 

Supplier Management & Communication

  • Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, lead time confirmation, sample submissions, and documentation. 
  • Support supplier performance monitoring (OTD, quality incidents, responsiveness). 
  • Help prepare materials for supplier meetings or business reviews. 

Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain procurement databases, price lists, SAP master data, and supplier information. 
  • Generate reports on spend, savings, project progress, MOQ/SPQ analysis etc. 
  • Support automation or process improvement initiatives. 

CrossFunctional Collaboration (Internship Learning Focus)

  • Work with planning, engineering, quality, finance, and suppliers to support procurement decisions. 
  • Learn negotiation basics by shadowing category managers and supplier meetings. 
  • Build problem-solving skills through real case scenarios such as delivery recovery or cost improvement tasks. 

What qualifications will make you successful:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated interest in procurement and supply chain operations, with a strong willingness to learn and develop professionally in the field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset, capable of managing multiple tasks and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
